An accomplished, organized, enthusiastic, innovative, critical thinker, result-oriented, open-minded, and approachable 21st-century skilled teacher with over three (3) years of progressive career experience in guiding curriculum implementation through lesson plan development, planning for curriculum monitoring through lesson observations, giving effective and timely feedback, coaching and mentoring teachers and classroom management. Proven ability in teaching and learning process by handling candidate class in two consecutive years with an upward trajectory in the mean score that is, in a class of 2019, 2020, and 2021 with a KCSE mean score of 7.3(C+), 9.02(B-plain) and 10.02(B+) respectively. Adept at analyzing students' data, preparing a summary report, and deciding the best pedagogical approach to implement in a classroom of differentiated learners. My objectives are to continuously strive to gain relevant knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to reach the Zenith of my career in the service of humanity; to enhance my academic and social skills to become an effective and efficient 21st-Century skilled educator, and; also to expose myself to new challenges and ideas as well as become a productive person in the society.
Experience
I am an accredited teacher registered by the Kenyan Teachers Service Commission with more than four years of teaching experience handling learners aged 11-18 years in secondary school. I am also a student mentor and peer teacher coach through lesson observation and giving timely feedback.
Education
I am currently a master's student undertaking a Master of Education in Advanced Teaching in Collaboration with an International Baccalaureate degree at The University of the People (online program). I graduated in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in Education Arts-Upper second class honors from Kenyatta University.
