I am a medical Practitioner with postgraduate competency training in Surgery. I a have over seven years experience in the field spanning areas of clinical practice, hospital/institution leadership and management, research, teaching and mentorship.

I have worked in busy hospital set-ups as a medical officer in the departments of Neonatal Care, Obstetrics and Gynaecology and outpatient clinics gaining much needed hands on experience on emergency, acute and critical patient care. I have also been priviledged to oversee the expansion and roll-out, at the clinical and administrative management, level of a level 1 facility to a fully fledged 24HR inpatient, surgical and neonatal care centre,level 3 facility, in Nairobi. I have worked in a busy referral surgical unit managing Acute Trauma and elective surgical procedures.

I have completed a competency Surgery qualification as a Member of The College of Surgeons of East Central and Southern Africa, MCS (ECSA) with other trainings in Surgical Trauma care and Life Support besides an undergraduate degree in Medicine and Surgery, MBChB.
