⮚ The task of receiving, storing, issuing, and documenting a wide range of goods, supplies, and equipment was efficiently planned, monitored, and managed by you. ⮚ I contacted vendors for price quotes, recommended an acceptable vendor, drafted a purchase order, communicated with customs authorities, received shipments, resolved pricing and material disputes, processed payment paperwork, and filed damage claims. ⮚ Maintain sufficient stock levels; place orders to restock products; regularly assess the material's quality and cost. ⮚ Strategically using all available storage space, properly classifying products, and offering any necessary specialist storage are all tasks that need careful planning and supervision. ⮚ Delivered order status updates and contacted vendors to inquire about a likely delivery window. ⮚ Receiving stock from suppliers and storing them in the stores. ⮚ Preparing and arranging stock release from the stores. |
⮚ Record keeping. ⮚ Maintained and managed the stores neat and clean. ⮚ Conducted daily, weekly and monthly inventory. ⮚ Checked and updated store cards and pin cards whenever received and release of stock from the stores. ⮚ Acted as officer in charge when the presence of the Quarter Master is not available. ⮚ Prepared weekly work plans and weekly, monthly reports. ⮚ Prepared payroll and timesheet for the stores staff and submitted to the stores coordinator. |
