About JoyAnn Gitau:

I have over 2 years of experience in software development specializing in frontend development where I create beautiful user interfaces. I’m currently a student in Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology pursuing a degree in IT. When I’m not studying and coding, I enjoy designing user interfaces on Figma and going to the gym.

Experience

I have been a freelance software developer since June 2020, where I started learning frontend development during the beginning of Covid-19. I have been building websites and apps for clients on Freelancer.com and Upwork.

Additionally, I worked as a web developer for Loadency Dispatchers from July 2022 to September 2022. My responsibilities included creating and managing the company website using Wordpress to reach out to new customers in the United States, redesigning the company logo, managing SEO and digital marketing using Google Analytics and AWS, and working with the senior engineer to redesign the company's system user interface.

Education

I am currently enrolled at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology. My focus is on software development, and I am determined to use my education to build a successful and fulfilling career in this field. I began my studies in September 2019 and am currently continuing to pursue my degree
