• Develop and manage work breakdown structure
  (WBS) of information technology projects
• Develop or update project plans for information
  technology projects including information such as
  project objectives, technologies, systems,
  information specifications, schedules, funding,
  and staffing.
• Maintain and administer computer networks and
  related computing environments including
  computer hardware, systems software,
  applications software, and all configurations.
• Perform data backups and disaster recovery
  operations.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware,
  software, or other network and system problems,
  and replace defective components when
  necessary.
• Provide technical support to designers, marketing
  and sales departments, suppliers, engineers and
  other team members throughout the product
  development and implementation process.
• Encrypt data transmissions and erect firewalls to
  conceal confidential information as it is being
  transmitted and to keep out tainted digital
  transfers.
• Develop plans to safeguard computer files against accidental or unauthorized modification,
  destruction, or disclosure and to meet emergency data processing needs.
