As a professional and diligent Biomedical Technologist cum Tropical and Infectious Diseases enthusiast, with over 8 years in
medical research including but not limited to disease prediction, surveillance, epidemic control, phlebotomy, molecular,
microbiology, immunology, hematology, histology& pathology, biochemistry, validation and verification of the new biomedical assays, data analysis, and report dissemination, I am seeking the opportunity to utilize my proven skills and knowledge appropriately to continue the quality and help achieve the goals of your organization as I grow professionally.

I am a Biomedical Technology and Tropical Infectious Disease enthusiast. 
I have more than 6 years working as a research scientist in the HIV program. I have succeeded in operating the KEMRI Molecular Biology Lab (HIV program) on assigned shifts. I have also served as alternate center CIPDCR QUALITY MANAGER and head of the equipment and extramural activities capacity. I succeeded in making both HIV KEMRI Alupe, Busia, and HIV KEMRI, Nairobi achieve the certification in ISO 15189:2012. I conducted fieldwork in 
mobilizing the community training health facilities in GCLP in sample collection, processing, and transport to referral labs for testing. I supported the validation of the new HIV-1 testing kits. 
I have a versed experience in lab testing platforms as I have worked in top Kenyan government hospitals like JOOTRH, Mathari as well as KNH in a lab technologist capacity. 
I am well conversant with the implementation of research projects, planning for and carrying out the fieldwork, performing various lab experimental procedures to the latter, resulting in interpretation, validation, and reporting, organization of the internal scientific CMEs, inventory maintenance, performing QMS auditing and assisting visiting research scientists and students 
where necessary. 
I am a team player, very hard working and self-driven, good communication and reporting skills, necessary interpersonal skills, and am ethically sound and open to new skills and ideas. 
I firmly believe that I have the skills, training, education, enthusiasm, and experience to make much more contributions in this position as well as learn and develop.
