Job Title: Senior Accountant
Responsibilities
 Supervising day to day running of the accounting department and operations
 Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
 Advising the board of directors and management on financial matters of the organization.
 Preparation of annual budget and execution and reporting on variance analysis, providing financial analysis, advice, and oversight of the organizations budget.
 Facilitation and cooperation between the external auditor in liaison with the internal auditor to carry out external auditing.
 Coordinate finance committee meetings and take minutes on the same.
 Preparation of the milk payroll including all the statutory deductions and perform milk reconciliations.
 Ensuring that the organization complied with the relevant laws and regulations and IFRAS guidelines are followed in the accounting work.
 Review and recommend modifications on the accounting systems and procedures to maintain and strengthen the internal control systems.
 Safe guard the company’s assets and advice on matters of resource investment.
 Maintainance of the debtors ledger and follow up on the debtors.
 Project management.
