• Contributed many successful ideas to improve the efficiency of the production activities which included the design and fabrication of an adjustable drilling bench to eliminate the problem of a small feed of a drill press.
• Designed and fabricated a more robust and efficient cart that was used to ferry logs to and from a treatment plant. This reduced the breakdown of the cart by 80% and improved the carrying capacity by 150%.
• Worked effectively with a diverse team to accomplish daily objectives and meet long-term goals. Used my knowledge of engineering drawing to assist in the construction of an Adam retort kiln with masons from the Bonan construction company. 
• Stayed productive by using slow periods to restock and organize supplies. This was mainly in charcoal production where supply usually lagged behind demand. 
• Carried out maintenance operations on the treatment plant. This involved repair and replacement of site glasses of the treatment tanks. Removal of sludge from the working and measuring tanks of the plant. This reduced production time by 50%
