An engaged, driven and detail orientated Supply Chain Management Professional who is always focused on ensuring that the customers, stakeholders and business needs are met first. Possessing substantial experience in Supply and Demand Planning, Inventory Control management, Procurement, Costing and Operations Management and quickly identifies ways to optimize profitability in an organization. In my present role I provide leadership and direction in the Supply Chain Planning Unit. Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (KEMSA) – Snr. Supply Chain Planner (Supply Chain Planning Officer) January 2019 - To Date. Key Responsibilities • Lead process Improvement in the Planning and Continuous Improvement Department • Work with Finance, Procurement and Commercial divisions to ensure supply plans are in place so as we can meet customers’ needs efficiently. • Oversees a team of 4 Supply Chain Planners in developing both strategic & operational commodity forecasts for the organization. • Lead the Analysis and Scenario Planning to identify which and how much inventory should be replenished. • Proactively communicate product availability updates to all Levels of the Supply Chain so as pricing and uploading to the Logistics Management Information System (LMIS) can be done. • Attend and participate as the subject matter expert for Demand and Supply Meetings. • Participating in designated Committees; • Preparing the KEMSA Capital Commodities Procurement Plan. • Supporting the preparation of Departmental Budgets &Procurement Plans • Management of delegated expenditure budget in the Department • Representing KEMSA in stakeholder meetings on planning and policy issues. • Supporting the development of Health Sector Medium Term Plan Reports (MTP)& Annual Performance Review (APR). Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (KEMSA)– (Supply Chain Planner) Aug 15- December 2018 Key Responsibilities • Analyzing unit commodity volume from customer orders to prepare historical records for • forecasting purposes • Working closely with Customer Service team members to validate abnormalities in customer demand history • Developing commodity level operational, Category/Grouping and Strategic forecast • Measuring forecast accuracy levels to identify areas for improvement • Facilitating forecast discussions in planning meetings for the assigned categories/groups • Working with stakeholders to understand changes in the business climate that would impact forecasted volume • Incorporating human intelligence into the commodity forecasts • Analyzing the Stocks Status report to identify and correct out-of-stock and expiry situations • Working closely with Warehouse Receiving and Procurement to coordinate inbound receipts on a timely and needed basis • Tracking commodity fill rate performance to maximize customer service levels • Providing inventory analysis to determine minimum stocking levels based on demand and lead time uncertainty • Preparing inventory reports that identify average coverage levels and abnormal deviations • Comparing actual procurement orders against the unconstrained requirements to provide visibility of over or under procurement levels KK Security Limited - Decision Support Analyst Mar 15- Aug 15 Key contributions • Work together with Finance and Sales & Marketing teams to building cost/Price models for new and existing products and services. • Support Projects & Branch Managers with price/costs related needs includingbudgets consolidation. • Participate in various corporate projects requiring financial evaluation. • Providing financial analysis to management for decision making • Take initiative in identifying and resolving issues around costs and Prices • Support the business in decision making by providing ad-hoc information & reports as required. • Confer with sales and marketing teams to develop tender proposals. • Presents performance indicator reports and benchmark narratives to Branches KK Security Limited - Pricing Analyst Nov 2013- Feb 2015 Key contributions • Reviewing and analyzing the company’s product pricing compared to published or disclosed prices of competitors in the market place. • Conducting key pricing analysis and assessments and make recommendations to the sales and marketing leadership teams during product promotions, campaigns and specific projects administration. • Developing pricing options to meet competitive opportunities and providing input for profitability projections and corporate pricing strategy. • Analyzing market dynamics, pricing trends, market opportunities, operating and sales margins in order to develop reports, procedures and tools for pricing and quoting. • Financial analysis of customer offers to determine company ROI/GM. • Prepare cost/pricing models to include labor, materials, benefits, and company overheads. • Ensure compliance with government contracting regulations.
