Ivy League and Russel Group educated professional with over 10 years senior executive management experience in banking, insurance, infrastructure, real estate, energy, investment banking, auditing, consulting, and the public sector across different countries.  These include Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, South Sudan, the Democratic Republic of Congo and the USA, in companies that are listed on stock exchanges in London, Johannesburg and Nairobi, and the Nairobi Over the Counter (OTC) market.

I therefore bring with me critical and in-depth insights into prevailing global market trends within the financial services, infrastructure, real estate, consulting, and energy industries, both in the public and private sectors.  I value data-driven decision making, service and excellence. 

I am an accomplished and award-winning business executive with an exceptional blend of multi-sectoral and multi-cultural experience in Africa, Europe and the USA.  I has spent most of the past two decades working in executive management roles in the private and public sectors and have built a track record of excellence in start-up environments and multinational corporations, as well as large government institutions.  I have over 15 years of executive management experience in the public sector, and in commercial banking, insurance, real estate, infrastructure, energy, investment banking, management consulting and auditing. 

I served as Chief of Staff and Special Advisor to the Cabinet Secretary in the Kenya’s Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure, Housing, Urban Development and Public Works.  I  was also the CFO of NIC Bank (now NCBA), UAP Old Mutual East Africa, Acorn Group Ltd., among others.  I started my career as an auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers and worked as a corporate finance consultant at Deloitte Consulting and an investment banker at Merrill Lynch (now part of Bank of America) in New York City.  

I hold an MBA from Harvard Business School, a Master of Science in Financial Economics degree from the University of Oxford, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from the University of Nairobi.  I am also a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya.
