 I am a Graduate BSc in Water and Environmental Engineering. I am a qualified and reliable Water and Environmental Engineer with a broad knowledge of delivering projects and I am well-versed in Civil 3D and Survey works. I have exceptional oral and writing skills and the ability to collect and integrate data using MS and Excel as computer applications. I have functional knowledge of interpreting and translating design drawings to produce reliable documents and prepare B.O.Q for the same. My objective is to work in a competitive and dynamic environment, enough to cause total performance with minimum supervision to add value to the organization’s corporate goals and to my career development through self-motivation and unquestionable integrity.

Recently, I worked with China Railways no. 10 Engineering Group Ltd as an outfield works supervisor. To be brief these are some of the responsibilities I undertook: Preparation of Bill of Quantities for works which have not been captured in the original drawings e.g., construction of cross culverts, construction of ablution block, construction of concrete staircases, Interpretation and translation of design drawings to the masons who are doing the construction works, Conducting design drawings using Civil 3D e.g., design of road alignment, surface, profile and cross sections from the topographical data, Design of Box culverts and detailing of steel reinforcements and Preparation of concrete mix designs for various concrete classes.

I also worked with Cleanco investment ltd as a solid waste management officer and successfully helped the company to reach greater heights. As a waste management officer, I was able to perform the following functions: Develop disposal procedures for contaminated and/or hazardous waste to streamline the company’s waste management, develop protocols for storage of hazardous materials, develop recycling programs to minimize landfill usage, Day to day Management of waste facilities. From supervising public works and sanitation facilities to coordinating the waste collection and the disposal of hazardous waste, Management of subordinate staff to maintain adequate performance, providing outreach and marketing for the general growth of the company, and working with accounting and budgetary milestones to make sure proper management of the company’s day to day activities, Selling waste materials to third parties. “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.” E.g., used plastic tanks, and jerry cans, Reporting on the company’s general waste management performance. 

I am a Co. Founder of ACDI (Asals Community Development Initiative), a community-based organization aiming to provide the best quality solution in the field of rural development in Asals areas. ACDI is an innovative CBO based in Wajir county, active in information dissemination, program implementation, strategic partnerships with stakeholders, and nurturing ideas and talents for sustainability, among other vital areas. The CBO’s strategy is to promote a sustainable society through education, health, and agriculture. The CBO was registered in the year 2020.

In addition, I was advantaged to do my Industrial attachment at TATA CHEMICALS Kajiado County in the department of roads and transport. Performed the following duties and responsibilities; Preparation of Bill of quantities, Inspection, and taking of measurements, Carrying out road conditional surveys and AutoCAD design.
