An astute communications specialist and social media manager with years of experience in the communications and digital space who is passionate about storytelling for a purpose. I am good at content creation, SEO, writing, editing, videography, photography, very proficient across all social media platforms. 

I aim for excellence and everything that I do. I also have experience in corporate communications digital marketing and brand management. 

In my role as a Communications specialist and social media manager, I have been responsible for developing and implementing communications plans with clearly defined objectives, key performance indicators, audiences, and timetables. I have assisted in researching and writing blogs, reports, and human-interest stories on Signvrse's work. Additionally, I have assisted in producing and disseminating communication materials, including brochures, posters, infographics, and audio-visuals.

I have drafted and reviewed written deliverables such as press releases, newsletters, and brochures. Furthermore, I have become familiar with the content management system and have posted new, approved content to the company website while adhering to publication standards. I have also developed reports for each project and archived raw footage for accessibility.

As part of my responsibilities, I have published approved content and managed social media messaging. I have conducted graphic design work for both external and internal clients. Managing the organization's social media presence and generating content creatively has been an integral part of my role. Moreover, I have handled company activities such as interviews, discussions, and focus groups.

I have actively managed online brand mentions and brand reputation. When necessary, I have assisted with other forms of marketing and grant writing. Additionally, I have engaged with active social media accounts, handles, and partners to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

A bachelor of arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Nairobi.
