Experience

Managed IT helpdesk with support team offering support to ActionAid staff located both on-premises and or in community offices. The support tickets were organized, tracked, and prioritized via Jira IT service management software and support offered remotely using Quick Assist, TeamViewer or
AnyDesk tools ensuring timely resolution of requests. The solutions and problem definition were recorded in the IT knowledgebase for future references.
• Successfully created more than 3⁄4 of ActionAid staff accounts in the Microsoft Exchange Centre (EAC), licensed (with either E5, E3 or E1 licenses), deployed password length and expiry policies, offboarded staff and transferred staff accounts to other Organizational Units within the federation.
• Worked with the HR to ensure that staff reporting to the organization are provided with tools of work including laptops, tablets and mobile phones. These devices are joined to the azure domain with 2Fa to enhance security and managed using Mobile Device management (MDM).
• Reconfigured ActionAid’s Wireless network Access points enhancing availability and connectivity. This involved reconfiguration of network switches and security appliances/firewalls 

• Provided hardware support in replacement of laptop drives, RAM, keyboards, screens, and other parts to enhance cost cutting across units.
• Installation of Ms Windows 10/11 versions on laptops, O365 application deployment, windows server 2026/2019/2022 on the organizational servers being an upgrade to outed versions complete with end point security
• Provided technical support on procurement of IT devices (laptops, printers and servers) ensuring compliance with the existing policies. After procurement of these assets together with the asset management team, we tag them, and track them at any point of project especially during internal
audits.
• Together with the procurement team, we maintained a list of prequalified vendors to supply IT equipment and services including device warranties, and risk reduction to ensure business processes are not affected in case of
downtimes. This also ensured that agreed timelines are adhered so that the organization gets value for money.
• Together with the policy owners’ group, I drafted organisational National IT policy, reviewed the global IT policies and procedures while domesticating the federation wide data protection policies as the data protection officer.
• Worked in ActionAid Active Directory, managing domain controllers, and organizational units in various countries, Microsoft Entra AD/Azure AD, licensing of user accounts, Mobile Application Management (MAM), and Enterprise Mobility Suite (EMS) and device security management Intune.
Admin Centre.
• Migrated an on-prem AD to the Azure AD (Microsoft Entra ID) ensuring the organization leverage on the cloud benefits leaving room for other important activities
• Planned and implemented network drives for data sharing and an online data backup on Azure cloud to ensure business continuity in events of calamities.
• Supervised two ICT officers ensuring that IT help desk continues to deliver the expectations of the organization.
• Enhanced system security by configuring a pair of firewalls on cold spare basis with 24hour monitoring achieving zero successful attacks over 3-year period. This has been achieved via setting of security policies, endpoint security softwares and Ms Defender Antivirus to ensure real time protection.
• Procured and configured a dell PowerEdge r750xs server, running ESXi 7.0 and 8 virtual machines both file and application services. All the Vms are fully virtualized and managed via vCentre leading into reduction of costs which would otherwise been used to procure extra hardware 

Automated organizational processes using Smartsheet, integrating project workflows, and dashboards as a Smartsheet Admin with ease of tracking and alerts. 
Fully implemented ICT projects in the communities where ActionAid operates to enhance organizational visibility and programme sustainability 
Procured, configured, and implemented sage 300 people ERP for payroll and staff performance management with the vendor, leading to transparency in processes
Supported staff in adoption of Microsoft teams as an online collaboration tool for video conferencing meetings and zoom for connecting to external people.
Implemented SharePoint platform allowing ActionAid staff data, and files within the federation cutting on cost of having many other systems while managing access rights
Ensured compliance with the organizational policies on data encryption, Acceptable use of IT systems by ensuring that all data on secondary storage was encrypted and My Documents folder is backed up on OneDrive.
