Roles and Responsibilities 
*Involved in preparation of the departmental plans and budgets
*Involved in developing conservation plans for forest reserves
*Educated the local community on sustainable utilization of forest resources
*Engaged in tree nursery management
*Participated in tree planting activities
*Aided in managing regeneration of forest reserve
*Involved in conducting follow up exercises on forest rehabilitation activities
*Provided regular technical assistance and worked effectively with both KFS staff and Eden Reforestation Project officers. 
*Trained on collection of Forest Fees and Charges by the Procurement Officer 
*Mandated the duty of issuance of grazing and livestock permits, Monthly Fuel Licenses and movement permits under supervision of the Procurement Officer in-charge 
*Participated in training selected farmer groups and partners on various recommended focal areas including Community Based Natural Resource management, Dry land forestry, Climate smart agriculture, Sustainable energy options, soil and water conservation, Disaster Risk management, Advocacy and policy influence

Bachelor's degree in Natural Resource Management at Chuka University
