I am a mature Sales Management professional with over 20 years working experience in both corporate and SME environments, within very robust and competitive markets. I have been responsible for and delivered business growth for Necst Motors, the Volvo Trucks and Construction Equipment Importer for East Africa; Customs Aluminium East Africa Ltd and Kenya Shell Ltd Lubricants department. I have a proven track record of Sales Management, Business Development, Strategy Development and Implementation, Project Management, Business Analysis, Financial Management and Managing teams for productivity. I am a highly dynamic and self-motivated individual who thrives on high intensity environments, with demonstrable leadership skills, analytical skills, presentation, excellent interpersonal and communication skills which coupled with my motivation skills gives me the ability to drive results through people.
Experience
I was recruited as a management trainee in a Kenya Shell Ltd where I worked in various roles including Finance, Business Analysis, Marketing Implementation and Sales Management. Bulk of my experience was in sales where I was responsible for managing lubricants sales through distributors and I had major successes in growing revenue and market share. I then took up a role in an aluminium windows fabricating company as a Business Director and was charged with the responsibility of putting in place business processes and growing revenue/profits. My next role was in Necst Motors where I set up a high performing sales organization, put in place processes and built key relationships with customers across East Africa that led to business growth. My next role was in the same Organization, and I was tasked with growing the business through introduction of new segments and increasing Geographical presence. I was also tasked with setting up a marketing team complete with a new strategy that was digitally oriented.
