Jacob Oluoch

Human Ecology and Agriculture professional with over ten years of experience specializing in the design and management of projects for both profit and non-profit agriculture and health programs. I am skilled in project and people management, stakeholder and government relations, policy advocacy and lobbying, community engagement, compliance and risk management, marketing, and extension in Agriculture and Human Ecology. My proven competency in discharging administrative functions, logistical planning, improvement of processes as well as direct support to monitoring and evaluation of projects, complement my skill set.  I hold a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture and Human Ecology Extension with add-on trainings on project management, agri-enterprise development training and Conflict Resolution Management. Iam a great team player with expert communication skills and enjoy working in an environment of diversity of culture, class and race.

I have worked for and executed projects under the food security and agriculture production sector for over thirteen years in Kenya and Uganda as follows;

1. Field and Liaison Officer for Smallholder Farm Improvement Project - Ministry of Rural Development Authorities Kenya in 2008 / 09.
2. Tutor  and Head of Community Development and Social work at At. Ann's College in 2010 / 2011 in Kisii County.
3. Financial Advisor at BRITAM in 2011.
4. Government Relations Lead at One Acre Fund from 2012 - 2019
5. Field Marketing Associate at Apollo Agriculture for 2months in 2019.
6. Business Development Officer for Tulaa Technologies Limited for 6 months in Marakwet County in 2019.
7.  Agricultute Project Specialist at Self Help Africa for 2 years 2020 - 2022.
