During my internship I worked in the following sections: - cash office, creditors, debtors, vote book, examination and student finance. The specific duties in these sections were:
Cash office; Preparation of bank reconciliation statements, Posting, balancing and coding of Cash Books, Payments of petty Cash, Receipting and banking of incomes, Maintaining of cheque movement books, Issuing of cheques to payment vouchers, Filing of paid vouchers and Carrying out cash analysis.
Creditors Section;  Preparation of payment vouchers for :- Petty Cash, salaries, Imprests warrants, Suppliers, Non invoice suppliers e.g. Telephone, Power, Posting of Purchase Day Book, Posting of Creditors ledgers, filing of electricity Bills and updating and balancing ledger for electricity bills.
Debtors section; Posting of Imprests’ warrants to respective ledgers, expensing accounted imprests, Summarizing of unaccounted impress, Posting of sales Day Books, Preparation of Debtors Ledger, filing of processed claims and imprests warrant. 
Vote Book Section; Allocation of votes to Vote holders, entering imprests, claims, vouchers and requisitions into the computer for processing.
Student Finance; Sorting of receipts, Signing the clearance forms for graduating and transferring students Issue fees statements and structure, Verifying students HELB  loans and maintain individual  students fees accounts or records, Updating students accounts, Registration of school based students, Assisting the students in their personal problems to the best interest of the university.
Finance Examination; Verifying the accuracy, completeness of all payments made by the university. 
NOTE: Vouchers preparation, receipting of income, cheques printing, vote control, Debtors posting, student’s records is processed by QuickBooks, PASTEL and Sage Acc Pac Computer programmes.

At UAP I served as financial advisor to both the client and the management on the areas upon which the clients should invest as far as policy was concerned, whether on Education, life, other covers including asset financing. To the management was responsible determining the areas of different clients’ interest on investment so as to focus as well as promoting different investment.
Also entitled in identifying the new market segments and products the company management can consider serving and supplying.

Election Observer Group (ELOG)
ELOG Supervisor (Molo and Njoro constituencies) 2012-2013:  
With the ELOG I served two contracts or levels of operations; 
Long Term Observer (LTO) where my role was to monitor the electoral process including Sensation of election irregularities as provided in the election Act 2010. I also monitored the politician schedules in not to collide and cause conflict. Also monitored the subjects that were under me, receiving their reports analyzing and harmonizing and submitting to the county in charge. 
Short Term Observer (STO) 
This entailed only the observation of the election material day, also censoring of the election irregularities, then submission of the subsequent result after immediate tallying.

Evangelist (Evangelism and Training)
At Wendo Parish I served as a trainer on Catechism, Religion and Christian Ethics. I also did planning and organizing of classes and supporting the reverend and elders in presiding over the ceremonies upon Baptism and Confirmation. I was responsible of Evangelism in leading, guiding and organizing of praise in worship team as well as intercessory, organizing and planning of preaching programs. I also headed such department as Youth docket, Church School, Boys and Girls Brigade, Deacon, and Church Registry, Guidance and Counselling amongst others.

At Egerton Primary where I was an intern doing my practical in teaching, I was teaching the upper primary classes where I handles the following subjects: Mathematics, Science and Swahili.
