I am a diligent professional who is focused and determined in the task given. Over the course of my 11-year career, I’ve developed a skill set directly relevant to a professional automotive company, including root cause analysis and work methods analysis acquired in my current sales position at Qarmall Limited.  To top on this, I have consistently demonstrated teamwork, communication and technical abilities in every aspect of my automotive technician role at DT Dobie Company. 

It has always been my desire to give my very best in the relevant position offered, to be a team player and to mentor others in my line of work. 

1. Qarmall limited.

Parts sales representative.

One of the major thing that this role has taught is to be able to listen more, ask questions and be able to come up with best appropriate solutions to offer clients. It has also taught me to work under pressure and be able to handle all kinds of clients despite their temperaments. Amongst other tasks i have learnt to handle very well include:

• Marketing of the company on social media.
• Generating sales for the company.
• Making appointments and meeting with clients.
• Performing follow-up calls to clients.
• Receiving calls and advising clients on the products they need.
• Liaising with the inventory personnel on the products needed to be stocked.
• Sending Emails to potential clients on the current promotional items and the discounts offered at the moment.
• Prepare monthly sales report through Microsoft Excel
• Design and running ads on social media.

     2. DT Dobie Company

This was my longest serving place of work. I consider it as my fundamental stepping stone in my career as it taught me to handle various challenges as they come in the most accurate way and in a calm manner. Amongst other tasks I handled include:

• Ensuring that a client’s vehicle is handled in a proper manner.
• To diagnosing client’s concern appropriately and accurately.
• Working on the client’s vehicle with the highest standards possible.
• Issuing a defect report to my supervisors to be communicated to the client for response.
• Ensuring that every item worked upon the vehicle is recorded down and in a precise and orderly manner.
• Cross-checking the vehicle before releasing it for road-testing.

1. Rift Valley Institute of Science and Technology- Nakuru

Handling cars has been my passion since childhood and enrolling into this institution was a dream come true as it gave me the chance to learn more about vehicles and how they work. Through several theory and practical lessons I was able to learn about:

• Basic vehicle technology
• Engine and auto electric technology
• Workshop technology and practice
• Corporate and technical modes of communication.
• Among other basic fundamental subjects.

I also Learnt basic computer skills through a college I enrolled into which equiped me with hands on skills about computer systems and programmes.
