Experience

I have professional teaching experience at both institutional and individualized learning levels. I began my classroom career at Archbishop Njenga Girls High School, where I taught Mathematics and Chemistry under the 8-4-4 curriculum. My responsibilities included preparing schemes of work and lesson plans, delivering structured instruction, conducting continuous assessments, organizing remedial programs, and participating in departmental academic planning.

Beyond mainstream classroom teaching, I have worked in homeschool and tuition settings delivering CBC, IGCSE, GCSE, and American K–12 curricula. In these roles, I design differentiated lesson plans, track learner progress through digital platforms such as IXL, and integrate analytical thinking strategies, including chess-based exercises, to strengthen concentration and structured reasoning.

Additionally, I served as an Editor and Publication Assistant at SpearSharp Publishers, where I supported Mathematics and Science textbook development. This role strengthened my expertise in curriculum alignment, formula accuracy verification, academic clarity, and instructional quality assurance.

Collectively, my experience reflects a balance of classroom delivery, personalized learner mentorship, and curriculum development support.

Education

I hold a Bachelor of Education (Science) from the University of Nairobi, specializing in Mathematics and Chemistry. My academic training combined subject mastery with pedagogical development, curriculum design principles, assessment methodology, and classroom management strategies aligned with TSC professional standards.

I previously earned a Certificate in Computer Science from Kivuli College, strengthening my digital literacy and ability to integrate educational technology into instruction.

At the secondary level, I attained a Grade A in Mathematics and a Grade B (Plain) in Chemistry in KCSE, demonstrating strong foundational competence in my teaching subjects.
