Network Design and Planning Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out surveys/designs for network infrastructure.
• Preparing detailed network BOM’s and provisions for new development, minor works, including diagrams for cable management.
• Digitizing of (G.I.S) maps already walked-out.
• Preparing and update project schedule based on the contract.
• Set work program and target milestones for each phase based on the project plan.
• Monitor critical activities based on the project schedule and advise project management.
• Prepare and submit updated work program and cash flow curve showing actual progress and identify areas of weakness and establish means and methods for recovery, if any, as well as new critical activities.
• Monitor day to day work progress and prepare the weekly and monthly program and report.
• Maintain and record update of site work progress obtained from Project Manager.
• Prepare monthly report reflecting work progress summary.
• Report to the Project Manager about the current work progress and make comparison between plan and actual progress and study impact of alternative approaches to work.
• Participate in project meetings and discussions with the Client as required.
• Preparing complex 2D and 3D drawings and models

Project Coordinator/Network Maintenance Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities

• Team management including team rotation and work scheduling.
• Respond to all clients’ mails, WhatsApp, calls and queries in real time and within the agreed SLA.
• Recording and responding to all network related issues across all service platforms with proper updates and timelines on resolution.
• Management of materials as per work requirement and reconciliation of the same.
• Providing technical support to field technicians in both support and maintenance related issues.
• Provisioning cores for links to link, Base stations and slicing of ODF.
• Ensuring new clients’ installations are done to satisfaction and client education done on how to use service.
• Installation and configuration of network devices such as switches and microtiks.
• Conducting surveys and drawing designs using AutoCAD and preparing of As-Builds after completion of scope.
• Handle, manage, dispatch and follow up service tickets requests received from Remedy as per request.
• Enforcement of compliance to work requirements especially EHS and OHS guidelines.
• Generation of daily, weekly and monthly reports to Head of Operations.
• Generate, document and compile all data for installation and support for purposes of billing and invoicing.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Head of Operations from time to time.

Network maintenance technician

Duties and responsibilities

• Ensuring Quality of Service and Quality of Experience offered to customers.
• Splicing of drop cable up to termination points as stipulated both HFC and GPON cable.
• God understanding of both HFC and GPON cable network, related tools and materials and safety standards required in the installation and maintenance and repair of the HFC and GPON cable network and all services delivered by the system.
• Activation of CPE and updating of sites.
• Efficient administration of information: Ensure proper feedback and timely update is given on all duties assigned, installations done within stipulated SLA, proper response to emails, WhatsApp and any other office communication channel.
• Drive to/from jobs, ensured the company vehicle is clean and all items inside are well maintained, vehicle serviced on time and service and parts replacements are well recorded.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are well kept, maintained, and in good working condition.
• Ensure all customer solutions are documented, running configurations are backed up,

 and all preventive and restorative procedures are documented and adhered to.

• Ensure health & safety standards are observed.
