Hiram is a Sea Freight Ass Manager incrementally improved the productivity of his department heads by implementing strategic communication and  ensuring flexible work schedules to meet the demands of work-life balance for his team members. Hiram leads by example to implement day to day activities in clearing shipments.

• Provide leadership and strategy for the sea freight operations team to promote growth within the company, through realizing current and future business opportunities.
• Lead and overseeing of all day-to-day operations within the department to ensure that the services being provided are organized and in accordance to the local legislation and operations is running in smooth manner.
• Liaise with Customs, Port Authorities and Shipping Lines as and where necessary to ensure that all rules and regulations are being followed properly and required services are provided in a timely basis.
• Monitoring and reporting of key performance parameters to ensure department is running as efficiently as possible with budget planning, people and equipment resources planning, people development and training.
• Ability to Identify business & process improvement opportunities and provide recommendations. Running of the ocean department to ensure all time updates and key prospects on future business.
• Involvement with Post-Sales activities and Manage Major RFQs
• Oversee sea freight daily operations for both exports and imports.
• Allocate duties to port clerks and follow till completion and evaluation.
• Present daily reports to the country manager on daily operations and ensure billings are done perfectly for completed Jobs.
• Close follow up with transport dept. to ensure timely delivery and empty returns and billing for the same within same day of delivery.
• Manage the sea freight structure of work and execute amendments where necessary
• Handle escalations and any arising matters from clients and my junior colleagues on whatever that may bring hiccups on sea freight operations.
• Fetch sea freight business from potential clients via site visits and online platforms
