Entomology and parasitological attaché Where I Conducted an independent research in entomology; “A survey of malaria vector diversity and distribution in Kakamega county”. With the objective to generate data on malaria vector in Kakamega county which is within the lake endemic region.

Worked closely with national malaria officers on other entomological and parasitological research

Participated in malaria microscopy training, managed over 40 human blood samples where parasitological techniques were performed to improve on quality assurance and SOPs development.

Cooperated with researcher in conducting entomological survey; malaria vector surveillance for mapping vectors in different counties with an objective of providing timely and updated vector data to guide planning and vector control interventions.

 

Education

trainee Entomologist at National malaria control programme. Work experience of 2 years, a graduate from University of eldoret.
