Grace Ndungu

My name is Grace Ndung'u. I am 24 years old, very ambitious and also love making friends . I have studied International Business Administration at USIU- Africa university. While at the university, I discovered that I am so good at sales and marketing through different businesses I started and ran (shawarma business). I began the business in 2021 when corona virus had started spreading in the country, I therefore had so much free time as I was taking my classes online. The business involved: making of the snack (shawarma), advertising through fliers and also one on one marketing. In a day, I would be able to make 15 shawarmas and sell at least 12 shawarmas thus making profit of ksh 1500 a day

In 2021, while I was still at the university, I spent time reading materials in sales and marketing thus growing my skills even further. I then started applying for a job in sales and marketing and landed one with Sterling Credit Limited. My roles included: making cold calls on daily basis , sending mass messages on daily basis, engaging with customers on WhatsApp to form rapport & retain them, writing daily reports, writing weekly reports, closing sales on daily basis, hitting targets set, doing monthly collection of loans given.
