Iam writing to apply for the position.The job opportunity presented in the listing seems interesting, as I believe that my education and rich work experience of over 15 years as a police officer in the Kenyan military makes me a suitable job candidate for the position. To support the fact, my key strengths for the job vacancy include:-

• My police security skills gained for the last 15 years in use of different firearms and weapons like short barreled i.e. pistols, long barreled weapons like AK-47 and G3 Rifles for both close and long quarter battles.
• Experience in the use of short, long barreled weapons and sub machine guns i.e. Pistols, AK 47, Revolvers and belted weapons among others.
• Enforcement of law and order as enshrined in our constitution in order to create a secure environment for citizens, investors and all stakeholders both in public and private sectors.
• Security of government premises and properties i.e. State house, state lodges, government buildings and offices by offering sentry duties and guard services.
• Security of VIPs personnel both at their residence and work place. This entails VIP protection and escort.
• Apprehension of offenders and criminals who are in breach of law of the land, firms and taking to the court of law for justice.
• Detection of crimes, offenses by investigating using witnesses, evidences available depending on the nature of crime, venue, time and persons involved.
• Conducting frequent patrols in crime prone areas in order to deter crime by all means. This is achieved sometimes by deployment of plain cloth police officers in order to camouflage from the enemy observation.
• Disaster skills acquired during my learning in campus to curb emergencies crisis i.e. fires outbreaks, floods, droughts etc.
• Computer applications especially the use of MS – word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
• First aid skills from St Johns Ambulance in case of Disaster or security attacks to manage casualties and victims including my fellow colleagues.
• I have also undertaken a “UNITED NATIONS PEACE OPERATIONS SECURITY MANAGEMENT COURSE”(UNPOSMC),2023.

Apart from these, am also flexible in learning and adapting new technologies as per job demand.
