Responsible for the examination of financial and inventory transactions to ensure they are
accurate and entered correctly.
 Verifying the accuracy of figures and calculations relating to a business transaction recorded by
other company personnel.
 Conduct periodic assessments to ensure accounting records are accurate and properly stated.
 Entails correcting errors or making indication for accounting personnel to carry out corrections.
 Maintain digital backup of financial documents by uploading document details into computer
systems.
 Compute deductions for income and social security taxes and also evaluate expense accounts,
loans, interest, bank records, and inventory to check for financial inconsistencies.
 Liaise with accountants and clerks to verify major discrepancies in financial assessment.
 Prepare and present results/reports of financial evaluation to company management.
 Utilize accounting software as well as spreadsheets and databases to input and compute
financial transactions.
 Reconcile data from external vendors and internal employees and also prepare purchase
orders as well as expense reports.
 Prepare trial balances of books and monitor account status to ensure payments are up-to-date.
 Receiving and recording cash, checks, and vouchers.
 Input costs/income into accounting software and assign each to appropriate account.
 Ensure that proper accounting and bookkeeping procedures are followed during data entry.
