- Interviewing, analyzing and evaluating applicants with emphasis on risks (Business, financial, market and particular focus on repayment risks)
- Developing other business by marketing the Bank’s service capabilities; Seeking cross selling opportunities for Bank Products.
- Working in co-operation with credit administration to identify and monitor problem loans and possible delinquent facilities for further action.
- Reviewing the daily excess reports and advice cheques for payment to credit where there are existing arrangements.
- Ensuring that customers correspondences are dispatched on time and responses to any inquiries are handled within the Bank’s service level agreement(SLA)
- Networking with other sales/service managers to identify sales opportunities and share the experience as a team.
- Providing feedback to SME & Sacco banking departments on the SME/Co-operatives market characteristics and competitor’s activities to ensure opportunities for new customer’s acquisition and enhance market share in the segment is achieved.
- Monitoring market and competitors’ activities to ensure opportunities for new customer acquisitions and enhanced market share in the banking sector and customers’ satisfaction with products and services offered by the Bank.
- Attending meetings and education day for cooperatives in the region.
