- As a key member of the Revenue Accounting team, I was responsible for working with Sales, Revenue, Business Transformation, and other cross functional team in streamlining, automate and improve processes related to Order Management, Billing and Revenue.
- Executed Credit Policy adherence,records and correspondences administration regular clients contacts engagement by cordial relations visits and collaborations. Following up outstanding accounts by calls and emails and reconciling debtors accounts on receipt of payment and monthly as per KPIs.
- Undertook account reconciliations,monthly/weekly statements of account to customers as per KPIs .Advised on provision for bad debts , potential write-off on irrecoverable receivables. Timely posting and matching of customer payment receipts into the Company’s accounting system (allocations), followed up intercompany receivables as per Intercompany rules, Booked credit notes on the system and Liaised with debtors team seamlessly addressing queries and completed reconciliations of portfolio allocated.
- Maintained master file data and updates. Credit internal control systems, processes, policies and procedures. Assigned customers/region monthly collection forecast to collections set targets with daily collection reports parameters (DSO agreed level) Regularly met relevant stakeholders, monitoring payment patterns , compliance with set regulations, dispute resolutions, billing queries, bad debt write-off, emerging techniques and practices in managing credit
- Assessed credit worthiness of customers using external information available from relevant sources and reviewing credit limits and payment terms granted on a periodic basis and making recommendations to management.
