Previously Technical manager at Pathcare Kenya Ltd having joined as a senior Technologist in March 2012 before rising to the ranks of management in the year 2015, a position I held until June 2022. Pathcare has been described as a state-of-the-art modern medical laboratory with regional out – reaches in major Kenyan towns and linked with internationally accredited laboratories based in Africa having attained its ISO 15189:2007 certification. Broad scope of responsibility included supplies accountability, Quality performance, SOPs up to date, Equipment maintenance, Monitor TATs for all processes, appropriate raw data storage, Monthly stocktaking and forecasting, hiring, training and supervising junior staff and students on attachment and overseeing overall technical testing in all the Pathcare laboratories. Some major achievements in the organization are;

At Mediheal Diagnostic and fertility center Nairobi in the year 2010 to 2012, I was the Technologist in charge of the overall operation of the laboratory with a daily turnover volume of approximately 40 to 50 patients, staff capacity of 5 technologist and 4 support staff. Directed all section management through effective duty rosters so that any section is fully manned at all times, including quality performance in supplies, staff competent, quality control, equipment maintenance, safety and work environment. Developed DQC and EQC program plan and implementation of corrective action when necessary. During my time at Mediheal, I initiated the following;

At Acacia medical center in 2002, I Joined as a trainee in the departments of Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Immunology and Microbiology and later 2004 absorbed to fulltime technologist after graduation to head of Phlebotomy and assistant head of TB section until 2010

Holder HND in Medical Biotechnology sciences from the Technical University of Kenya formerly Kenya Polytechnic. Diploma holder of Medical laboratory services from the same institution. Duly registered with KMLTTB. As a Certified Internal Auditor, I have excellent quality attributes that can improve any companies QMS to offer quality services.
