Key Responsibilities

  • In charge of the day-to-day operations of the project and supervising 20 staffs.
  • In charge of the development and implementation of the project’s annual partner plans and management of budgets to ensure outputs, outcomes and impacts are realized (to date, I have led in the development and implementation of 5 Annual Plans with a total Budget of over Ksh 50 M).
  • In charge of all Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) activities of the project. 
  • In charge of the spiritual, cognitive, social-emotional and physical development of the children (beneficiaries of the project) for holistic development.
  • Serves as the Project’s health worker in charge of the health/wellness of the children and youths.
  • Serves as the Project’s Child Protection Focal Person (CPFP). 
  • Act as the link between the Accountability Structure Members (ASM) Committee of the Project with Compassion Kenya to ensure a good working relationship. 
  • In charge of the children’s Saturday mentorship and life skills training program and the implementation of Compassion’s holistic and child protection curriculum. 
  • Organizing and facilitating remedial teaching for children beneficiaries whose performance in schools is below average as a way of helping them catch up and be at per with others. 
  • In charge of training and building the capacity of beneficiaries, caregivers (parents and guardians) and staffs on many topics to empower them with knowledge and skills (I have facilitated the 602 caregivers form and register 8 Self Help Groups (COSALO/CIG) groups that they use as vehicles for social and economic transformation and empowerment).
  • Compiling and writing weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
  • Maintaining and updating beneficiaries’ records in Compassion Connect- a Comprehensive Salesforce Database/System.
  • Organizing and facilitating Accountability Structure Members (ASM) Committee meetings and representing the project in local and national stakeholders’ meetings and engagements
  • Initiating networking programs for increased resource mobilization and generating fundable proposals to fund infrastructural development needs of the project (I have aided the CDC in raising over Ksh 10 Million local resources for infrastructural development and programming through proposal writing and other fundraising activities). 
  • I have led my team in development of key policies and strategies for the Project on: Human Resource, Procurement, Financial Management, Child Protection, Strategic Plan (2019-2023). 
  • I serve as a Subject Matter Champion (SMAC) on Child Protection and Safeguarding.

  • In Charge of Programme Participants’ Health Training Needs and Coordination of Medical referrals, Health screening, Submission of Monthly Health reports and Beneficiaries follow up on Health Issues. 
  • In Charge of HIV/AIDS Program activities at the Project.
  • Maintaining ALL Beneficiaries’ Health records and updates in the system. 
  • Advising the Accountability Structure Management (ASM) committee members on matters relating to Health and others affecting the children and youths. Counselling Programme Participants to ensure they are emotionally.
  • Training parents on different activities meant for their socio-economic empowerment.
  • Training children on the 4 domains of development. Spiritual, cognitive physical and social emotional development.
