Experience
I am excited about the opportunity to contribute my administrative, financial, and organizational skills to support the vital work of the CT team in countering terrorism.
As a proactive individual, I am well-equipped with knowledge and competence in program management and implementation, report writing, resource mobilization and proposal writing this is informed by experience of over three (3) years working for Legal Resources Foundation (LRF) a non - profit organization.
Currently I am implementing a project that support juveniles who are in conflict or in conduct with Law, also I am conducting a baseline survey to provide an account of the main issues in natural resource governance, civic space and the prevention of violent extremism in Isiolo and Mombasa counties. I possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, which enable me to engage with stakeholders effectively.
At LRF I coordinate logistics for various training activities, team meetings, and workshops. I organize travel arrangements, accommodations, and event logistics for staff travelling for field activities, ensuring smooth execution and participant satisfaction. I am well-versed in handling secretariat duties for program boards, which involved preparing meeting materials, distributing agendas, taking minutes, and effectively communicating outcomes to stakeholders.
I closely monitored project expenditures, prepared financial reports, and reconciled expenses with forecasts to ensure accurate budget tracking. I handled end-to-end procurement processes, from requisitioning, invoicing and payment processing. My demonstrated financial and budget management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, has aided in maintaining detailed and transparent insights into program activities and expenditure.
I hold a certificate in forensic criminology and currently pending results in the same for diploma, I have undergone other trainings such as paralegal training, cyber security and paramilitary training.
