Am passionate about making significant change in any role given to me. I have worked with my whole heart to ensure any  abused client [child]  in my hands is holistically psychologically supported, receives the care and protection and can access the necessary needs for their well being. 

Am a psychosocial counselor by profession. In my line of work I have mostly worked with children. I have 8 years of experience working at different capacities, i.e online counselor, team leading counselor and field counselor. In my line of duty, every case I received was unique, I had to handle each with the seriousness and urgency it deserved since I felt it would have an impact to the client.

Listening and attentive skills came in handy when handling clients. Regular follow ups also was a way of walking with the client ant ensure s/he is fully supported. In cases which needed other relevant services like medication , legal aid, I would link the client and still follow up to ensure they are attended to. 

Having a case management plan on every case has also been key, since it guides on every step you are moving with the client and the progress to the client's wellness. 

Working as a team has been very effective in ensuring there is quality delivery since there is consultation and guidance when stuck, time management and also growth on a personal level since I get an opportunity to learn from each other.

I have a Higher Diploma in Psychological counseling from Kenya Institute of Professional Counseling. Am also proficient in computer knowledge for I studied at Institute of Advanced Technology.
