 Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to;

§     Formulate and implement the companies’ risk management policy on assets/manpower

§    Oversee the operations within the brokerage unit

§    Maintain a register of all the insurances that the group of companies holds

§    Liaison officer on matters insurance both internally and externally

§     Processing Insurance Premium Financing in consultations with the finance department

§    Negotiate with insurers on suitable and cost effective products for the group

§     Maintain a comprehensive claims processing policy

§    Liaise with other internal departments in documenting claims

§     Liaise with Lenders to ensure their interests are noted in the respective policies

§    Coordinate the Loss adjusters’ and Investigators’ verification exercise on all accidents and losses

§    Liaise with the insurers to ensure prompt processing of claims

§    Prepare timely renewal schedules and ensure policies are renewed on time

§    Ensure safe custody of all original copies of policy documents

§     Prepare reports for the management on all insurance matters

§     Sensitize and train the relevant staff on various insurance policies held by the companies
