A polite, well spoken and hardworking waitress with experience of working in a busy restaurant. Attentive at all times with a willing and helpful manner that is required to answer phone calls, taking reservations and prepare bills. Always approachable, cheerful and possessing good observation skills as well as the ability to work alone or as part of the team. Position: Waitress

Responsibilities:

  • Understand menu content and keeping up to date of menu changes.
  • Welcoming the customers to restaurant, escorting them to their table and also inform them of any special offers or meals.
  • Answer guests queries in a polite and a helpful manner.
  • Receive food and drink orders and serve customers requests to the standards required.
  • Effectively communicate with kitchen staff regarding guest allergies, dietary needs and other special requests.
  • Process guest orders to ensure that all items are prepared properly and on a timely basis.
  • Responsible for looking after guests and attending to their needs during their visits.
  •  Clearing cutlery and dishes away from tables.
  • Relaying, preparing and setting of tables for the next guests.

Education

Certificate in food production and beverages from Mathenge Technical Training Institute
