Quality Control Assistant – SAI PHARMACEUTICALS KENYA 
LIMITED- Hygiene DIVISION ( 19th October 2021 – to Date)
Responsibilities
 Perform online inspection for in-process and finished goods
 Perform batch wise inspection of the finished goods lot, pass or reject the batch 
number
 Sample collection and performing wet and dry Lab testing of finished goods
 Documentation/ Upload on ERP of the Quality analysis Reports
 Reporting of rejected / hold finished goods, Raw materials & Packaging materials 
during Shift
 Documentation of Quality Reports on Daily Basis
 Perform IPQC and interval checks
 Provide training to onboard new employees to Lab tests and IPQC
 Perform market sample testing
 Perform in-house trials sample testing and evaluation
 Perform the testing of samples for approval for RM and PM and follow up for the 
machine trials and prepare reports after machine trials
 Maintained Quality documents like SOPs, specifications as per GMP
 Reporting of rejected/hold finished goods, raw materials and packaging materials 
during shift
 Documentation of quality reports on daily basis
 Prepare reagents and chemicals required for testing
 Calibrate instruments in quality control laboratory as per frequency mentioned in 
respective SOP
 Check and approve batch no. mfg., expiry date details at the start of production and at 
every change over
 Ensure all raw and packing material issued to production is analyzed and approved by 
quality control department
 Assist QC manager perform GMP training and internal audits
 Perform microbial of products as per specifications
 Assist in development of new parking material, artwork check and mock preparation
 Perform Document reviews and GMP checklist for periodic document checks

Microbiologist- Brookside Dairy Limited (6th January 2020- to 31st August 2020) 
Responsibilities:
 Monitoring and identifying microorganisms in a wide range of environments.
 Reviewing and approving data generated from testing.
 Investigating results for microbiological data.
 Using computers and a wide variety of laboratory instruments to carry out 
experiments.
 Ensuring products and processes comply with all relevant procedures, principles 
and regulations.
 Monitoring the effects of microorganisms on the environment.
 Testing of raw materials and finished products.
 Taking and testing environmental monitoring samples.
 Giving guidance and direction to other team members.
 Sample collection and proper storage before analysis
 Media preparation
 Sterilization of plates for inoculation
 Inoculation of the samples and media into sterile plates
 Incubation of the microorganisms 
 Plate reading and identification of microorganisms
 Performing gram staining procedure to identify bacteria
 Examining physiological and morphological characteristics of microorganism using 
microscope
 Tabulation of the results and preparation of technical reports and recommendations to 
be reported to the quality assurance manager
 Maintaining accurate up-to-date records
 Ensuring compliance to Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) requirements.
