My responsibilities

• I warded off theft.
• I responded to security alarms and distress calls.
• I was in charge of doing security checks.
• I secured the interior and exterior of the premises by patrolling to detect unusual activities.
• Whenever someone lost an item, I acted by searching for the lost item and giving it to the owner.
• I ensured that the vehicles were parked properly and that the reserved parking, such as the employees’ parking area and the VIP parking area, are not occupied by common guests.
• I controlled traffic by directing drivers.
• I enforced the rules and regulations of Manson Hotel.
• I monitored people entering Manson Hotel.
• I scanned luggage properly so that no hazardous materials could be allowed inside Manson Hotel.
• I observed who entered Manson Hotel with the use of cameras.
• I monitored the surveillance equipment.
• I was in charge of inspecting the interior and exterior of Manson Hotel.
• I monitored and inspected the access points.
• Performed preventive maintenance requirements to ensure that all equipment was fine.
• I was required to make reports after recording my observations of occurrences. It was also mandatory for me to interview witnesses.

My achievements

After one year I was promoted and I received an increase in my salary because of my discipline, professionalism, and hard work. I also managed to bond and build trust with clients who used to regularly go to Manson Hotel.
