Experience
- Handles reception duties including telephone answering, conveying information from sources (customers, suppliers & colleagues) to executive and vice versa.
- Inventory management and general organization of the office not limited to supplying stationery used in the office and maintenance of stores ledger, filing, copying, mails and management of customer & suppliers contacts database.
- Processing and reconciling a wide variety of accounting documents such as invoices, credit notes, bills etc.
- Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivables
- Petty Cash management – tracking and auditing petty cash transactions, posting all financial transactions to the automated accounting system.
- Debt collection and management
- Payroll processing; includes and not limited to calculating of salaries, PAYE, NHIF, NSSF, NITA and making sure filing and payments are done on time.
- Internal and external audits preparation and management
- Daily Cash Flow management
- Bank and cash Reconciliations
- End of month financial reports processing. Compilation of tax reports and handling VAT device including Z reports daily and monthly.
- Processing of Company’s Value Added Tax (VAT)
Education
I am a young Kenyan currently holding a Certificate in Kenya Accounting Technician Certificate (KATC), CPA (K) Finalist and Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies Management (Procurement) from Kenya Institute of Management.
I possess excellent skills in QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, Excel and Sage. I am eloquent in both English and Swahili, a team player, proven ability to plan, organize, coordinate and prioritize tasks.
