Am a registered laboratory technologist with over 3 years of active experience in various health facilities, where my key roles are the collection of specimen samples, processing, analyzing results, and dissemination of test results.

• Collect samples from patient/clients which includes blood, nasopharyngeal and oropharyngeal swabs, serum, urine, and stool specimens as per the laid down procedures.
• Process, label, and, package specimens for transportation to the labs according to the standard operating procedures.
• Conducting medical research and analysis.
• Operates and maintains sophisticated instruments and equipment by proper setup, calibration, operating, and shutting down.
• Systematic data entry of all collected samples and their details into the Patient Care System.
• Perform donor registration and screening.
• Participate in routine laboratory data cleaning as and when required.
• Assist in making calls to participants expected back into the clinic for follow-up
• Monitor the utility levels of test kits and reagents in the facility and alert the laboratory in charge of requisitions.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and clients’ privacy.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
