Erick Okoth Owiti

I am dedicated and committed monitoring and evaluation specialist in health management and community development, with 8+ years of progressive experience in setting up an M&E system and a proven track record of improving output rates while developing the analytical and critical thinking skills necessary to thrive in program interventions at management level. My experiences encompass designing, implementing, and envision tracking program progress and embracing technology for both data collection and decision making. This is in line with managing evidence-based family-centered service delivery for OVC, adolescent’s HIV prevention programs, Water Sanitation & hygiene, integrated nutritional & health projects, other public health programs both national and County-based.
My main areas of technical expertise include monitoring and ensuring high quality and timely inputs, and ensuring that the project maintains its strategic vision and activities result in the achievement of its intended outputs in a cost-effective and timely manner. I have vast experience in preparation of the Quarterly/Annual reports on project progress and monitoring the project activities on a regular basis, developing and maintaining the MIS of the Project and collection & analysis of different data in relation to the project activities. I am also well-grounded in concepts and proposal development. Key donors that I have experience of working closely with include PEPFAR, Irish AID, EU, and other private donors.
