Elvis is a young motivated, detail-oriented Environmental Planner with a collective 2 years experience in GIS, Customer Service,  Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation.

My experience summary include:
● Seasoned tech-savvy and proficient in mobile, messaging and use of applications.
● Proven experience in providing administrative and technical support in project coordination and implementation to Think Tank organizations (CGIAR & KFS).
● Skilled in project management, applied field and desk research, data collection, report writing and relationship management.
● Competent in Microsoft office applications (e.g., Word, Power Point, Outlook and Excel) and data management tools (e.g., ODK, SPSS and STATA).
● Good command of written and oral English and Swahili language. Exellent negotiator, facilitator and communicator – quickly establish rapport, build credibility and cultivate lasting relationships with stakeholder.
● Passionate about innovative ideas that enable more social impact among the women, marginalized and youth.
● Deepened knowledge in Desktop and Web GIS.

My professional experience includes; Information and Knowledge Management, Learning, monitoring and evaluation, Data Science, Data Analytics, urban and rural planning, environmental planning and management, Environmental Impacts Assessments and Audit, designing, maintaining and updating GIS databases, converting complex data into information that is easily readable and accessible to the general public, preparing training manuals and training students as well as clients, mobile data collection, creating highly accurate thematic maps and considerable field experience. Over the course of my career thus far, I have learned that excellent team communication and a passion for GIS, in general, are just as important for success as extensive technical knowledge.

I have intense interest in further developing skills in Data science, Data Analyst, Information management, GIS and remote sensing and its application in Biodiversity Conservation, Project Management, Monitoring and evaluation, Disaster management and Environmental Management.

Graduated with second class honors (upper division) in Environmental Planning and Management, with a strong bias in GIS and Remote Sensing.
