I have been a farmer for the last 6 years, dealing with maize, potatoes, garden pea and beans. At the beginning I started tilling half an acre planting potatoes only, later after two years I expanded the land to two acres and added maize. 

Currently I am doing 12 acres. 8 acres maize, 2 acres potatoes, 1 acre garden pea and 1 acre beans. When I was starting I did a lot of research when it came to seedlings, land preparation. planting, crop management, harvesting and storage, by practicing all these stages with keenness and patience I was able to achieve a massive improvement in crop production every year.

As per now I am proud to say that I have solve the problem of low quality seed in my village as I produce high quality second generation seeds to my fellow farmers and I envision to extend my farming to produce more seedlings to reach more farmers to sub county level.

Moreover, about the cosmetic business that I am running, it is my part time profession. I started it when I saw majority of people were travelling far to look for the services especially when there are different occasions to be attended, so I decided to open one and since then I have acquired more knowledge on skin care, hair care, perfumes, sanitary and many more. I must say that I have accomplished in making many women look good, smart and presentable, I feel so good and fulfilled.

Bachelor's degree in Medical Microbiology. This branch of medical science is a four year course in Universities and is focused on the study of microorganisms (bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites) that cause diseases in humans, including their diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. 

One is required to work in hospital laboratories under microscope and analyze specimen then write down the findings for possible treatment to be administered by the professional doctors/ clinical officers.
