PROGRAM OFFICER
FORUM FOR AFRICAN WOMEN EDUCATIONALISTS, KENYA
As a member of the program team, I provided leadership to programme development, fundraising, and maintenance of good relationship with donors.
- Provided technical leadership and oversight for the Women Empowerment Project, BREAKFREE, MAKEWAY Intersectionality, Girls Education in Emergencies and ASRHR Kenya projects’ implementation.
- Documentation of advocacy actions, best practices and lessons learnt.
- Supported the Ministry of Education in development of the National School Re-entry Policy 2020 and the National Guidance and Counselling Policy 2022.
- I have contributed to effective knowledge management and learning systems and practice among the FAWE Kenya’s membership and other stakeholders working with FAWEK.
- Provided technical support in the design and implementation of programmes, and in line with organization values, strategy, guidelines and protocols.
