Holds a PhD. in Economics from Maseno University, Master of Arts in Economics and Bachelor of Arts with a major in Economics and Minor in Mathematics. 

Senior Lecturer of Economics in Maseno University. Previously I have served as Dean, School of Business and Economics, Chairman Department of Economics.I have been a Trustee and chairman of the Board-Maseno University Retirement Benefits Scheme (MURBS); a Member and Chairman Audit Committee of Bungoma County Assembly and a Member of Competition Tribunal of Kenya, in National Treasury and Economic Planning.

I have interest in Microeconomics theory, Macroeconomic theory, and Econometrics and Economic Policy Analysis research. I have published in international journals and chapters in a number of books.

Been involved in Monitoring and Evaluation of humanitarian and Development projects

I have been involved in Research,Policy Making and Analysis.

Worked as a consultant in projects funded by UKAID and World Bank
