Dennis is a Kenyan-born photographer and Filmmaker/ Cinematographer based in Nairobi,

Kenya. Since the age of 10, Dennis's work has been consistently sought out by several

prominent advertising clients, including the British High Commission Nairobi Climate Change

makers photography competition which his work was displayed in the Museums,

kalasha Awards his film won the prestigious award, Advanced Media in U.A.E and many

others. He has photographed several recognizable Humanitarian Agencies’ including

UNHCR, WFP, and UNICEF, in both world's largest refugee camps in Kenya, Dadaab and

Kakuma.

His curiosity for different ways of living has brought him to new and unfamiliar

territories—from areas as far away as the War zone countries and states in Khartoum

Sudan and the brother South Sudan are in different states of the countries. A firm believer in

fostering creativity and fulfillment through personal pursuits, he did some pictorial

projects in Uganda and Kenya inspired by his humorous behind-the-scenes escapades

on shoots—giving viewers a look into how unpredictable and entertaining life on set can

be. The birds-eye-view of his photography methods—whether it be through his blog,

tutorials, or videos—demonstrate that it’s not always the technique that makes a good

photograph, but one’s connection to the subjects—as well as the client—that

truly makes an image resonate.

Most recently, Dennis worked as a humanitarian in Takuma teaching the young refuges in

how they can tell their stories through film and Pictures.

In his upcoming book series, he is documenting his Fine Art photography he believes

in the saying "A good news cameraman and a Photographer needs planning,

intuition, contacts, and a lot of luck. Life is never dull."
