I have over 10 years experience in the banking sector, most of which have been in the credit department. I am a detailed oriented individual with the ability to spot anomalies in any credit paper and analyze movement  when it comes to financial statements. I am time conscious especially when it comes to preparing reports for the regulators and management 

• Preparing credit proposal for Management/Board consideration by monitoring and reporting loan portfolio performance and trends in order to provide insight to business teams and management. 
• Preparing regulatory reports in line with the prudential guidelines and the Banking Act to Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) on a Monthly, Quarterly and Annual basis.
• Prepare, validate and analyze statutory reports for the bank’s portfolio with regards to IFRS 9 prior to submission to the relevant authorities. 
• Responding the Questionnaires and Surveys from CBK and other various institutions
• Conducting follow-up procedures on the customers to ensure that the loan is utilized as proposed.
• Lias with the AML department when reporting any suspicious activities, and conduct follow-up queries as required.
• Lias with the AML department by performing periodic stress testing of the asset portfolio for risk management and decision making
• Liaising with insurance companies to ensure that the customers with credit facilities have renewed their insurance cover. 
• Review customer’s financial trends via the bank’s core systems before making decisions to allow them additional credit facilities for short term durations.
• Follow-up customers’ (both corporate schemes and individual) payments to meet their monthly obligations.
• Preparing reconciling and submitting the relevant data to the Credit Reference Bureaus (CRB’s) on a monthly basis and sending daily updates when needed.
• Handling customer inquiries on products offered by the bank and offering guidance to potential customers.
