I am a Registered BSc in Nursing and Public Health from Pwani University. I am passionate about providing quality patient care and applying information technology in the health sector. With the help of AMREF, I have gained valuable experience and certifications in intensive care, critical care, and emergency obstetric and newborn care.

In addition to my clinical work, I am a skilled medical transcriptionist and research writer, working with Upwork for over two years. I have delivered clean verbatim transcriptions of medical records, with perfect grammar, attention to detail, and proofreading skills. I am also a data analyst and a crowd contributor for DataEQ, where I analyze and rate the sentiment of social media mentions of various brands across Africa and the globe. 

My goal is to become a proactive registered nurse and a leader in the field of nursing and public health, using data and technology to improve health outcomes and address public health challenges.

My nursing professional experience has been incredibly fulfilling. It involves tending to patients' healthcare needs, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and providing emotional support. This role demands excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as adaptability to new healthcare technologies. It's both challenging and deeply rewarding to witness the positive impact nurses can have on patient well-being and recovery. Continual learning and staying updated with evolving healthcare practices have been fundamental in my nursing journey.

My nursing professional education has been a comprehensive journey, encompassing both theoretical and practical aspects. It involved academic coursework, where I learned about subjects like anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and patient care techniques. Equally vital were the hands-on clinical experiences in diverse healthcare settings, which allowed me to apply my knowledge and develop essential skills. This educational path ultimately led me to earn my degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), enabling me to embark on my fulfilling career as a registered nurse (RN) after licensure.
