I am fit for this position because I have appropriate work experience related with adaptation and mitigation, renewable energy, natural resources management, resilience building and disaster risk reduction, early warning and early action. In project management and coordination, partnership building in energy, environment, and working on issues of energy, environment, and climate change.

Also I have experience in health and climate programs implementations, climate smart agriculture and livelihood and economic, also in adaptation and mitigation, improved climate innovation technologies and climate solutions natural resource, agroecological and natural regeneration interventions leading and providing technical advice.

Experience of strengthening emergency, preparedness and resilience, disaster risk management (DRM) and early action and early warning, health and climate change, resilience. Identifying  designing  and implementing  effective preparedness actions towards a coordinated response, cross-regional experience and skill in climate action, environment and community resilience programming in community regional and national and cross country level(Kenya,Ethiopia,Sudan..Djubut..) in development, humanitarian and peace building programs(environment, natural resource conservation, environmental protection..).

Developing strategies for climate, environment and community resilience and  climate adaptation, climate smart community-based disaster risk reduction, early warning and early action, food security livelihood, agroforestry and  tree planting. Provide technical advises  on  climate, environment and resilience programming, and ensure coherence and clearly articulated integration between relevant policies, strategies, frameworks and tools. experiences in climate change, forecast-based financing, anticipatory action, urban risk management, disaster risk reduction, disaster risk governance, community resilience programming.

I have experience in strategic programming initiative to build resilience to conflict, environmental degradation and climate change of people affected by displacement, refuges in cross border programs specially in Kenya and Ethiopia, Sudan, South Sudan in implementing triple nexus programs(Humanitarian-Development-Peacebuilding) areas in related with emergency, climate crisis and socio political conflicts, skill of climate adaptation, mitigation ,and resilience building strategies in house hold, community, regional and national levels. Experience on Peace building and social cohesion programmes

Demonstrated knowledge of and experience implementing humanitarian standards, understanding and experience of Ethiopian humanitarian programme contexts, including government processes and donor requirement and experience on project design and Donor funded project management.

Also, ensure the integration of environmental aspects in the project’s implementation and preparation of environmental impact assessments monitoring, reporting and evaluation natural resources conservation, pest management, forest management, irrigation dams. Preparing projects which develop the national early warning systems, as well as climate information systems for vulnerable communities; improved emergency preparedness and response system, Develop and implement corporate training initiatives related to anticipatory action, climate information and early warning systems at national and regional level. Practical skill and knowledge in implementation and up-scaling of organizational global portfolio on climate early warning and  anticipatory Action programs, implementation of climate information, early warning and  anticipatory programs and working with partner agencies to strengthen coordination and advocacy for climate services. 

  MSc from school of environmental science and natural resource management in climate change science and development & in project planning and management with other bachelor degrees.
