I have extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management. I founded the procurement department for a non-profit organization, where I successfully managed a multi-million annual procurement plan. One of my notable achievements was leading the project team in sourcing and implementing the digitalization of the procurement process, resulting in increased efficiency.

I also played a pivotal role in drafting and reviewing the procurement policy manual, ensuring transparency and accountability while optimizing the organization's supply chain with minimal costs. Throughout my career, I have developed a diverse skillset encompassing areas such as global sourcing, logistics, quality control, manufacturing, strategic planning, and business development.

I excel in various aspects of supply chain management, including strategic planning, demand forecasting, production scheduling, and inventory management. Additionally, my proficiency in supply chain software and systems enables me to leverage technology for process improvement and optimization.

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Supply Chain Management from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, which I completed in 2018. Currently, I am pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Management at UNICAF University, and I anticipate graduating in 2023.

Throughout my education, I have developed a range of skills and competencies that are relevant to my field. I have gained practical experience in strategic sourcing, budget management, and supplier/client relationship management. My strong negotiation and organizational abilities have allowed me to effectively navigate complex procurement processes. Additionally, I possess expertise in project management and stakeholder management, enabling me to drive successful outcomes. I am known for my analytical mindset, problem-solving capabilities, and strategic thinking, which contribute to my ability to make informed decisions.

Attention to detail is one of my strengths, and I have a deep understanding of international procurement management and inventory management principles. I am proficient in utilizing ERP systems and other end-to-end tech solutions to optimize supply chain operations.

In terms of certifications and additional training, I am a Practicing Full Member (MKISM) of the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management. I have also obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt Specialization from the University System of Georgia and completed a Python computer programming foundations course through Udacity-ALX. Furthermore, I have received training in areas such as international business and business alliances, marketing management, engineering project management, global project management, digital supply chain (SAP S/4HANA), and team building and leadership development.
