I’M Ambitious nurse with a considerable experience in patient care and hospital functioning. I have gained adequate competencies to thrive in a medical field having 2 years of experience. My competency in patient management is unrivaled. I am a great communicator with leadership abilities. I can leverage the same to adequately deliver on service. REGISTERED NURSE.
Duties and Responsibilities.
1. Offering nursing services to patients from pediatric to geriatric
2. Identify patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand care requirements.
3. Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological and spiritual support to patients, friends and families.
4. Promote patients’ independence by establishing patient care goals, teaching patients, friends and family to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills, answering questions.
5. Assure quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards, making or recommending necessary adjustments, following hospital and nursing philosophies and standards of care set by the nursing council.
6. Resolve patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies e.g. consulting with physicians and other health care professionals.
7. Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures and controlled substance regulations.
8. Maintain continuity among nursing teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs.
9. Maintain patients’ confidence and protect organization operations by keeping information confidential.
10. Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment’s inventories, evaluating new equipment and techniques.
11. Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies, maintaining licensure.
12. Maintain a cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating information, responding to requests, building rapport, and participating in team problem-solving methods.
13. Maintain nursing supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level anticipating needed supplies, using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
14. Ensure the whole environment is clean and provide patients personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves, assist with travel to the bathroom.
15. Provides for activities of daily living by assisting by serving meals, feeding patients as necessary, ambulating, turning and positioning patients, providing fresh water and nourishments between meals.
16. Provides adjunct care by administering enemas, douches, on sterile dressings, surgical preps, ice packs, heat treatments, sitz and therapeutic baths.
17. Maintain work operations by following policies and procedures
