DAMAS NDALECHI

I hold Bachelor of Commerce and Management degree in Human Resources from the University of Dar es Salaam (2010), and Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from the Open University of Tanzania (2019), with over 10 years’ experience in administration, human resources management, operations and consulting.

I have worked for NGOs and profit making organizations including but not limited to Deloitte Consulting Ltd, World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and World Vision International. Others include Plan International, FROSTAN LTD, Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU), JSI/ USAID under Global Supply Chain Program.  From May 2022 I was employed by Hope Holding Co. Ltd for their Papparoti Restaurants, Dr Sweets Ice Cream Parlours, and apparel brands namely REDTAG, SKECHERS, and LC WAIKIKI as their Head of HR and Administration for both business services lines.

I have developed skills and competencies in recruitment and training, payroll administration and review, team management and team building, performance management, contract administration and management, financial analysis and budgeting, proposal writing, logistics administration and supply chain management, etc.

Also as an Individual HR Consultant, I have facilitated capacity building and consultancy services to many clients on recruitment best practice, job analysis and development of job descriptions, workload analysis, workforce planning, employee engagement/ satisfaction surveys, reviews of HR systems and policies, etc.
