Cornelius Ndambuki

My background includes a Diploma in Technology in Mechanical Engineering, (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering option) from the Technical University of Kenya, whereby I undertook the following units; Engineering mathematics, Refrigeration and air conditioning, Thermodynamics, Fluid mechanics, Strength of materials, Mechanics of machines, Plant electrical, Instrumentation among other units.

 I have more than 14 years of excellent experience in positions of increasing responsibility and scope in the Engineering field and Facility management, namely with Hotpoint Appliances ltd, The Red Court Hotel and The Kenya Red cross Society (Dadaab Refugee Operation), culminating in the position of Maintenance Supervisor at The Boma Hotels, Nairobi. (A MULTIFAMILY UNIT consisting of various affiliate companies-{The Boma hotels, Boma International Hospitality College, Emergency Medical School, ICHA offices, Kenya Red Cross Society offices, and International Red Cross Societies offices-American Red Cross, British Red Cross, German Red Cross, and Italian Red Cross), as a Maintenance Supervisor at Osotua Luxury Resort Naivasha and also I’m doubling as a clerk of works for Osotua Villa Limited

In these positions, which I’ve held, I have been involved in energy management practices, cost management, controls, design management, maintenance (PPM)and repairs in all facets of maintenance (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Masonry, Carpentry, Painting, Polishing and Grounds maintenance), and self-development.

Currently, I’m working as a Head of Maintenance as a Maintenance Supervisor at Jacaranda Indian Ocean Beach Resort which is a development consisting of 100 rooms, Conference facilities, restaurants, four outdoor swimming pools, kitchen, tennis court and a basketball court.
